Ultrasound Unit
The Ultrasonography Services at JDWNRH were introduced in 1993 and have since evolved to include a range of advanced imaging options.
Ultrasound machines
The unit is equipped with four ultrasound machines, including:
- Two Siemens Sololine G20 (black and white)
- One Siemens Colour Ultrasound with Doppler facility
- One GE Logic 2008 (donated) with colour Doppler facility
Service Availability
The unit provides 24/7 emergency services and routine ultrasound examinations from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Services are available for both warded and outpatients on an appointment basis. All appointments must be scheduled through the unit, and patients receive detailed instructions for preparation at the time of booking.
